Day 2 of the All Bird Challenge is in the books Here's how our teams did: Bennett Cole and Ryan DeSotel had a nice run in the pointing division this morning and found 7 of their 10 birds! Tyler Alitz and John Finneseth, also in the pointing division, came up ONE pheasant short of all their birds!... Steve Card and Steve Karnes had a solid run in the pointing division this afternoon in the rain AND harvested 6 birds in their 1-hour challenge! Dave Murray and Mike Heller hunted in miserable conditions this afternoon and came up a couple birds short of all 10! We also had two teams drop today at the last minute due to the weather. Send you the rest tomorrow for the final run!

We had a fantastic last day of the #2021AllBirdChallenge! The first run of the morning in the pointing division was Shawn Pottebaum and Trent Iversen. They had a solid run this morning and shot 8 of their 10 birds! In the 2nd run of the morning, also in the pointing division, Steve Fletcher and Jason Ball had a great run and harvested 8 birds! ... The second run of the day, also in the pointing division, was Denver Hosey and Lincoln Hager! These two had a quality run this morning and were one pheasant short of all 10 birds. The third run of the day was Brandin Gorman and Nick Wassenaar! They had a fantastic run in the pointing division and came back with all 10 birds in a hurry! They said they were thrilled with their dogs today! J.W. Thomas and his brother Dustin Thomas led the charge for the first run of the afternoon in the pointing division! They had a great run and ended up with 9 of their 10 birds. Bob George and his son Alex George had a great run in the pointing division this afternoon! They were short 1 of each species of bird to end up with 7 of their 10 birds. In the last run of the ABC, Josh Crouch and Will George ended strong with 8 of their 10 birds!

Time is running out to get your last hunt of the year in at Doc's Hunt Club. The snow has melted away and the fields are looking great again! We have plenty of hard-flying pheasants, chukar partridge, and quail for your hunts to end the season The last day of the 2020-2021 season is Wednesday, March 31st...call Aaron today at 515-993-3711 to set up your last hunt of the season! Thomas / Dustin Thomas - 3 pheasants/3 chukar/3 quail with 11 shells left. Flushing Division: 1st place team will receive a 1/2 day hunt for 2 as first prize! 1st Place - 94/94 - Jeff Shannon / John Shannon - all 10 birds with 10 shells left. 2nd Place - 88/94 - Will George / Josh Crouch - 3 pheasants/3 chukar/2 quail with 12 shells left. 3rd Place - 83/94 - Mike Heller / Dave Murray - 2 pheasants/3 chukar/3 quail with 12 shells left.
