School of the Wild is officially underway here in Jackson County and we couldn't be more excited about it!!! We are partnering with the University of Iowa to bring this program to Jackson County. School of the Wild aims to get students learning OUTDOORS for an entire week of school. This week Andrew & Easton Valley 5th graders are at Prairie Creek learning about prairies, woodlands, geology, archaeology, water and more! Thank you to REAP, Friends of Jackson County Conservation, and the Community Foundation of Jackson County for helping make this happen! Bellevue 5th grade will be at Bellevue State Park and Green Island next week and Maquoketa 5th graders at Prairie Creek the last week of April.
