In an effort to be more sustainable, scientists in Iowa have developed a way to use hog waste as an alternative fuel for vehicles. While the abundance of hog waste available in Iowa allowed this technology to accelerate through the early stages of testing, the smell produced has halted continued development on the project for now. #AprilFools
