Today at 11:00 a.m. sirens will sounds for the Statewide Tornado Drill.

At 1452 Menlo Fire Department was called into service to help Stuart Fire Department south of Stuart on 140th with an abandoned house fire. With increasing winds, it then evolved into a field fire. What have we been up to this spring? In addition to our calls, we have been active with CRP burns across our district. Thanks to our members for volunteering your time to help with this years burns.

Tonight, Menlo Fire & Rescue will hold our monthly meeting at the fire station at 7:30 pm. If you’d like to join the department we would be glad to see you there! Feel free to message us if you have any questions about the department or would like to join and are unable to make it this month.

On Wednesday April 7th 2021 from 9AM to 1PM Alliant Energy will be shutting the power off to town again for voltage conversion. Please plan accordingly.
