Looking for something to do over Spring Break? Your library card can be your ticket to adventure! You can book your Adventure Pass reservations up to 90 days in advance. The Newton Public Library participates in the Adventure Pass program, which gives admission for two adults and two children to The Blank Park Zoo, The Science Center of Iowa or the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden. You may visit each one of these venues once per year with your library card. Reservations m...ust be made with an adult card in good standing, and the adult will need to show photo ID along with the printed pass at the gate. Additional tickets can be purchased at the door. Join us for Toddler Storytime every Tuesday at 10:30 am in February. Toddler Storytime is for ages 18 months to 36 months.

Preschool Storytime for ages 3 to 5 will meet every Thursday in February at 10:30 am!

The February Bad Art event is being canceled and offered as a take & make craft kit instead. If you'd like to reserve a kit, give us a call at 641-792-4108 or direct message us on Facebook. The kits will include a cardboard heart wreath, ribbon, paint, glitter, and other fun decorating materials.
