Have you had an issue like in this image with an injector? The damage in this image is posited to be caused by demulsifying water in diesel fuel. If you've followed my previous posts I've talked some about this before. When dealing with water, specifically in fuel in this instance, there's two ways to do so. Also, keep in mind that there's always some amount of water in fuel whether it's pumped into that tank when filling up or due to condensation that can be created for a fe...w reasons but especially with the current return fuel systems that exist in pretty much every engine run now days. One way is to demulsify or force the water of the fuel. This method separates the water from the fuel and since water is heavier it puts it down to the bottom of the tank. Chemicals are used to do this, sometimes alcohol like in SeaFoam or Power Services Diesel 911. While alcohol does have beneficial properties, at the end of the day if your engine isn't built to run on alcohol it will cause issues. While demulsifying water may sound like a good idea the downside to it is that you'll have a larger size water bubble sitting at the bottom of your fuel tank. When you start the engine that bubble will go through the system until it gets to the combustion chamber. In order to get to the combustion chamber it of course has to go through the injector. If the theory is correct that the damage to the injector in the attached image is caused by water then the results are not good. The other way to deal with water in fuel is to emulsify it. When water is emulsified in fuel it is suspended rather than forced out. The benefit here is that rather than one big bubble you have numerous tiny bubbles (insert Don Ho tune here ) running through the system. The water will still cause issues and damage though. Enter Primrose and their line of premium diesel fuel additives. Primrose has figured out how to break down the water into micro particles and on top of that figured out how to coat the water so that it passes through the diesel fuel system causing minimal to no damage when doing so. I'll stop there with the advertising and go back to my initial question now. Have you seen an injector with this kind of damage? As always, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions and thanks for reading!

I got 99 problems but carbon build up in my engine ain't one! Primrose 400 Protect-O-Lube not only breaks down carbon build up in engines but suspends it to help flush it out. And it does so much more! Want to know more? Send me a message or give me a call! As always thanks for viewing! The video is Primrose 400 Protect-O-Lube breaking down carbon from a GDI engine.... Author's note: I originally posted the video with the 400 Protect-O-Lube data sheet as the reading content last Friday. It's was boring product puking. It had to go! This re-post is a little more catchy and a lot less pukey!
