A Proclamation on Honoring the Victims of the Tragedy in San Jose, California As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on May 26, 2021, in San Jose, California, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House and upon all public buildings and grounds, at all... military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the Federal Government in the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its Territories and possessions until sunset, May 30, 2021. I also direct that the flag shall be flown at half-staff for the same length of time at all United States embassies, legations, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and naval vessels and stations. All, I wanted to let you know that a contract has been signed for the VFW to be the Title sponsor of the Winged Nation radio broadcasts aired live from the Knoxville Racetrack fan zone each night of the Knoxville Raceway 410 Nationals from August 11-14th 2021. The Broadcast will be called the VFW Winged Nation presented by Sage Fruit. We will have a 10X20 Foot activation and display area on the grounds of the Racetrack for the Events scheduled for Aug 5-8 and Aug 11-14 20...21 and Salute to America event at the Racetrack scheduled for July 3, 2021. Advertising A thirty second audio ad during each MRN Winged National live broadcast during the 410 Nationals and Interview of Person of our Choice on MRN Winged Nation Live Show on the night of Sponsor’s choice during the 410 Nationals. Event Branding Inclusion of VFW Logo on stage signage in the Racetrack Fan Zone during each MRN Winged Nation Live broadcast during the 410 Nationals Sponsor promotional announcements on the Racetrack public address system during the 410 Nationals; and Display of Sponsor branding and logo on the Racetrack digital video display boards during the 410 Nationals. The Most exciting is a Hospitality area located on the Racetrack premises for up to 40 people for Wednesday night of the 410 Nationals, August 11, 2021 for our guests, and Invitees, including tables, chairs, PA system, with assistance in the set up and tear down of the hospitality equipment and in securing a DRIVER appearance for the hospitality event. I have talked to Kendra and so far we are the only ones that will have a hospitality room as of right now so we should be able to hold more people. I will know an exact number by June or July. I am always hearing what does our National Organization do for us, Well they just did this for our Department. It didn’t cost our Department a Dime to get all of this. While there has not been a formal communication from the White House to raise flags, United States flags at the White House and U.S. Capitol have been returned to full-staff.
