New Beacon for July 2021

The May Optimist Student of the Month was Kyle Werner. Kyle was nominated by teacher Sara St. John who said, Kyle is one of those people who genuinely tries to add value to everything he touches. His schoolwork is exemplary and creative. He goes out of his way to be kind to students and staff. He finds a way to compliment others, help them, or support them to ensure that they succeedOften, in talking to him, he’ll tell me about the success of a friend instead of mentioning his own. Despite taking a heavy course load and being involved in many activities, he always has a smile and a kind comment. The Optimist Club made a donation to the Trevor Project on Kyle’s behalf. Congrats, Kyle!
